The Grange on Kalgan

Beautiful location

The owner was rude, arrogant and disrespectful, my wife and I left after one night even though we’d paid for two.

My partner and I had a lovely stay at The Grange on Kalgan. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable! We went in winter and were warm all night thanks to the heater in the bedroom. The day we arrived Wayne noticed that the TV wasn’t working. He arranged for someone to come and fix it so that we would be able to watch TV if we wanted. Wayne is both house and property proud and it really shows. The house feels cosy, clean and homely. The property is beautiful and very well kept. I really enjoyed the quiet mornings, listening to the birds sing and watching the sunset from the verandah. Wayne was a wonderful and very accomodating host. Thank you for having us!

Dreadful experience. The owner lives in and keeps an eye on you when you stay here. It’s a bit like staying with a distant relative who is being forced to put you up a their own expense. Hyper critical (and shouty) of you if you or your elderly Mum do anything that is not in his “rules”. Just what you want when you’re paying a fortune to relax eh. You’ve been warned :-)

Terrible, don't bother unless you want to cop some abuse via text message after your stay.Gave a honest review on booking.com wasnt bad just honest.The next day the owner used data from the Covid check-in register to get my partners details (who wasnt on the booking) and has sent 2 rude, unprofessional nasty messages abusing us for the review we left on booking.comUnless you give them 5 stars expect a pile of abuse coming your way, DONT STAY HERE
