The Travellers Rest Bed and Breakfast

Came across this quaint little place on a search for cheap accommodation around the Stirling Ranges. Although we were initially put off by the lack of reviews, the place and hosts turned out to be lovely!Everything was clean, the facilities were pretty new and the included breakfast" was on point

Pete & Beth were excellent hosts, with great recommendations as to what and where to go in the local area. Great home cooked food, local wine and that special orangcelo to finish. The rooms and facilities are excellent - the photos don't do them justice. Great place to stay and would definitely stay again.G&M

We stayed a long weekend at Travellers Rest. Pete and Beth were wonderful hosts, very hospitable and knowledgable about the local area. The room and en suite were very comfortable. It was lovely to sit and chat on the verandah with them after a tiring day climbing Bluff Knoll, and to share some of their fresh produce for dinner that evening. We had planned to stay in Mt Barker but as there were a couple of festivals on in the area, most of the local accommodation had already been booked. We were very pleased to find Travellers Rest, would highly recommend it and would love to stay there again.

Pete and Beth are the BEST hosts we have met in all the years of our travels. They made their home our home. Beth's evening meals were simply superb and with Pete's invaluable help this couple make one's stay just fantastic. Their home and our accommodation was sparkling clean as well as exceptionally comfortable. Along with Pepper the resident dog, the chooks, cows and fruity orchard one really cant ask for more of a farm stay. The bird life is delightful and walks around the property are great.
